Congratulations to Jiří Novotný

Jiří Novotný won the Italian Cup with international participation in the Q40 category (newly F3T), namely the race of RC models flying around pylons on the outskirts of Milan.

Congratulations and good luck for the future.

The Czech team was represented by Jiří Novotný, Tomáš Andrlík, Jan Sedláček and František Hovorka. The attendance of the Czechs was the largest of foreign teams. Participation of other countries was from the Netherlands and Germany.

There was a reigning champion Carlo Perella and Europe Champion Robbert van den Boschamong, all the outstanding pilots (a total of 19). Our team did well up to the 5th  round when Jan Sedláček took the leadership and Jiří Novotný was second.  Due to technical failures, Jan Sedláček was not able to finish the last round in a solid time and finished  on the 5th overall place.  The father of Czech pylon flying František Hovorka ended up on the 8th place, still showing stable performance worth of congratulations. The least lucky guy of the race was our pilot Tomáš Andrlík, since the engine refused several times to complete the required number of 10 laps on track. Therefore he had to be satisfied with the last place.

At present, the Czech team belongs among the best in the world in this category, and is able to challenge teams from the USA or Australia.
